Can You Get Organized in 15 Minutes? Spoiler alert: YES!


Do you feel like you don’t have enough time to get organized or does something more important come up whenever you find the time?

If this is the case, take back 15 minutes from scrolling or watching television and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish. 

 

Here are Fifteen, 15-Minute Projects!

 

1. Sort a File Folder: Go through one folder in your filing cabinet, discard outdated documents, and file new ones.

 

2. Tidy Up a Desk: Clear off unnecessary items, file papers, and wipe down the surface.

 

3. Sort Through Mail: Discard junk mail, file important documents, and set aside bills to be paid.

5. Clean Out a Purse or Backpack: Remove everything, throw away trash, and reorganize essential items.

 

6. Arrange Bookshelves: Organize books by genre, author, or size, and dust the shelves.

 

7. Organize a Spice Rack: Sort spices alphabetically or by frequency of use and wipe down the shelves.

 

8. Organize a Bathroom Drawer: Sort through toiletries, discard old products, and arrange items neatly.

 

9. Sort Laundry: Separate clothes into categories like whites, darks, and delicates, and start a load of laundry.

 

10. Declutter a Coffee Table: Remove unnecessary items, wipe the surface, and arrange the remaining items neatly.

 

11. Organize a Shoe Rack: Pair up shoes, discard any that are worn out, and arrange them neatly on the rack.

 

12. Clean Out a Fridge Shelf: Throw away expired food, wipe down the shelf, and reorganize the remaining items.

 

13. Organize Under the Sink: Arrange cleaning supplies, discard empty containers, and wipe down the area.

 

14. Tidy a Nightstand: Clear off the surface, organize any drawers, and dust the area.

 

15. Clean Out a Car: Remove trash, wipe down surfaces, and organize any items that belong in the car.

Set a timer and pick one of these micro projects. Do this several times a week and before you know it, your life will be much more organized!
